Okay, a new year, a new resolution: to update my LJ more often, thereby making all of you so much happier with my witty observations.

So my man Obama is pretty much kicking ass. Not only did he win Iowa, he is winning in New Hampshire with 41% of the votes. Clinton only has 28%. BARACK THE VOTE 2008!!

Oh! I read a REVOLUTIONARY article in the Boston Globe today: those who may connect their goals to an increase in money reach their goals faster than those who do not have money as an incentive. Well, duh. If I made money for every pound lost then I would be...well, I would be on America's Next Top Model, not mindlessly blogging here.

So what is new with me, forget about Obama and the Boston Globe, you say? Well, I'm on vacation until next week so I'm pretty much just being lazy. Unfortunately, mis amigos all have school or internships or some such none-sense and my boytoy is heading to NYC today. In other words, there is no one to play with me. :-( So I am left alone with my Anna Wintour biography. Speaking of which, it is the juiciest book ever. I especially love the anecdote about Anna cooking her friend lamb chops and then, when her friend had finished the lamb chops, admonishing her for her lack of self-control. Priceless.

Also, I promised that I would teach myself to knit after Christmas. Since I have only mastered casting on, I should probably work on that, too...

I just got out of history class (where my professor said the above quote) and now I'm waiting for rehearsel to start.

Oh! I'm submitting the last of my Vassar application today...yay! Keep your fingers crossed for me.

My man Obama definately was the best candidate there. But the guy who stole the show? The reverend who nailed Edwards on the gay marriage issue. He is pretty much the coolest guy ever.

I am updating because, Darling, it has been too long. Also, because my public (well, okay...just Robin) has been anxious (well...okay...just mildly curious) to read another one of my witty and winning entries.

Here are the highlights since I last updated:

1. I've been to two graduation parties and a wedding. The highlights of these are hanging out with Michael at his cousin's wedding and playing with Flurp at Mo's graduation.

2. I turned seventeen. I can now be a dancing queen.

3. I started by Chemistry class. Speaking of which...I actually have a ton of homework that's due tonight and a test to study for...oh, well. I won't tell if you don't.

4. I discovered how amazing Rupert Everett is. Truly, I don't know how I ever lived without his autobiography and films...

5. Gilmore Girls ended. Rory did not miraculously end up with Dean. This saddens me.

6. I have discovered Veronica Mars and have been obsessively renting discs of it from Netflix. I just have two more discs to watch before I'm done with the first season. I NEED to know who killed Lilly Kane!!

Wow...it was FEBRUARY when I last updated. In my defense, I have been incredibly busy. Most of my time has been taken up by schoolwork (this week I have a PreCalc test, a Theater Workshop performance and two AP tests) but some of it has also been claimed by rehearsels (for All's Well, which is all done now,) article assignments (for the Binnekill and the Gazette,) and a teensy-tiny portion has gone to my perfect boyfriend and my buddies.

So on Saturday I took my SATs and saw Spiderman 3 and yesterday I went to Lydia and Liam's wedding. Unfortunately, however, SATs, movies, and weddings do not accomplish PreCalc studying or AP US studying so I have a LOT to do this week. *huddles in corner hoping that if she has a nervous breakdown she will not have to take the tests*

Anyhooch, I should go study for the PreCalc test (which is at 2:00 today-AGGHHH!!!!)

Urgh...so since the end of finals...

1)I worked

2)I went back to school and found that the 2nd half of junior year is suckier than the first.

3)I found out that (more than likely) I can no longer shoot archery OR workout (with the exception of walking...oh, joy.)

4) I got a treadmill because of #3

5) I got the role of "Page" in the production of "All's Well That Ends Well" Never fear, my line is muy importante (but not really.)

6) I brought Robin to school with me. Everyone said we look alike. I don't see the resemblance. She is tall and has skinny arms, you see.

7) I saw my gorgeous, talented lad as the lead in Cripple of Inishman (excuse any and all spelling errors, please.) However, because of said play and my school I don't get to talk to Michael as much as usual. :-(

I think those are the highlights. Today I need to study for my Spanish test tomorrow, finish (or at least get a lot done) cleaning my room, and at five I need to go for job training since I have a part-time job next week with Know the Score. I kinda wish I hadn't applied now, though. I have so much to do now I don't know how I if I can handle another thing.

Oh! I saw In and Out yesterday con mi novio (Mi novio was muy excelente, the movie was asi-asi.) However, later I watched The Illusionist. I really liked it.

Urgh, I'm going to have to miss the Oscars because of stupid work...*pouts*
